Request deletion of your data
You can request that some or all of your Peerit data be deleted without necessarily deleting your entire account.
Profile information
In the app: Profile → Edit Profile — update or remove your display name and profile photo.
By email: Request removal of specific profile fields.
Session history and answers
In the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy → Data Retention — set auto-deletion for older session data.
By email: Request deletion of specific sessions or your full session history.
Bookmarks
In the app: Profile → Bookmarks — remove individual saved items.
By email: Request deletion of all bookmarks.
Discover Yourself reflections
In the app: Not available for partial deletion in the app.
By email: Request deletion of your private reflections without deleting your account.
Analytics data
In the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy — turn off Share Analytics.
By email: Request deletion of previously collected analytics associated with your account.
Complete a data deletion request by email
- Email support@peerit.io from the address linked to your Peerit account.
- State which data you want deleted (see types above).
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
Delete your entire account
Full account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile and account information
- Discovery session history and answers
- Discover Yourself reflections
- Partner connection
- All personal data stored by Peerit
In the Peerit app (iOS or Android):
- Open the Peerit app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and follow the prompts to verify your identity.
- Confirm deletion. You will be signed out and your data will be removed.
Cannot access the app? Email support@peerit.io from your account email to request full account deletion.
